About the Event

Nics Wetherill was the expedition leader for Ice Maiden - the first female team to ski across the Antarctic continent, coast-to-coast, using muscle power alone. She is a qualified doctor and General Practitioner in the British Army and promoted the Ice Maiden expedition to inspire more women and young people to push themselves  to achieve what might initially appear to be the impossible. Through photos, videos and her own personal account, Nics Wetherill will recount the Ice Maiden story, which addresses personal motivation, teamwork and leadership.
