About the Event
Paul Craig is Emeritus Professor of English Law, St John's College, Oxford. He has taught and researched in Constitutional Law, Administrative Law and EU Law since 1976. He was the UK Alternative Member on the Venice Commission for Law and Democracy from 2010 - 2019.
The UK and the EU signed the Trade and Cooperation Agreement (TCA) at the 11th hour shortly befor ethe end of the transition period. Yet in The Times Matthew Parris states "[Lord]Frost's appointment as EU relations minister shows every sign of Tory indications that Downing Street actually desires noisily combative relations with the EU." This talk reflects on the nature of UK-EU relations prost-Brexit in the light of the TCA and should help us decide whether we should be worried.
